Isabel is a native of the mainland of Australia in Melbourne. The mother of Isabel is Swiss as is her father Australian. Her family came originally from Cairns in Australia. They resided in Cairns Australia. Isabel attended school alongside Nina and children from different backgrounds, such as First Nations. Isabel lives currently in Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel started acting at the age of 12. Then, she studied acting at Queensland University of Technology's Victoria College of Arts. Before 2002, she never auditioned. She auditioned for the part of Home and Away in 1988. Producers felt that she wasn't the best fit for this part. They were so impressed, they made another character to play Tasha. She starred for 3 years as her first TV role. She was awarded a Logie Award for new popular talents for her appearance. In 2008 Isabel moved into Los Angeles. In 2009, her breakout role was in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Since then, she's appeared in many US-based and Australian productions. Isabel is currently as a character in Bosh & Rockit Ocean Boy, a movie that's fast becoming a classic in Australia. She also acted in the forthcoming thriller Lunacy. Isabel has also just finished Sons of Summer, and she is in the process of preproduction for the part in the film Marie Curie for Radiant. The award-winning Annika Glac is writing/directing the film. Isabel supports animal rights, as well as having worked for numerous environmental groups.
