Suzanne Pleshette

 

Suzanne Pleshette was an American film, TV, theatre and voice actress. She lived from January 31, 1937 until January 19 2008. Pleshette began her career in the theater and started appearing in films towards the end of the 1950s. She then appeared in prominent films such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), and Spirited Away (2001). Pleshette has also been featured in numerous TV shows, most of them as guest actors. She was nominated for several Emmy Awards for her performance as Emily Hartley, on The Bob Newhart from 1972 to 1978.
